Mission Vision Objective

  • To function as a non-profit institution geared towards environmental, social and economic betterment.
  • To promote peaks present in the Nepalese Himalayas, and cooperate with tourism related organizations for information exchange.
  • To identify hazardous scenarios with people operating expeditions and mountain tourism related activities in the Nepalese Himalayas and mitigate such scenarios. Furthermore, cooperate with related organizations and increase stakeholders’ participation.
  • To act as a mediator between individuals, organizations and other institutions involved in operating expeditions and mountain tourism related activities.
  • To use appropriate cooperative measures for conserving and promoting peaks in the Nepalese Himalayas, and strengthening the extent and scale of mountain tourism in Nepal.
  • To identify stakeholders associated with tourism in the Nepalese Himalayas and play the role of a leader to advocate and lobby for stakeholders’ rights and interests.
  • To identify elements of natural beauty associated with documented and non-documented peaks of the Nepalese Himalayas, and advice and inform concerned organizations on conservation efforts.
  • To advice and inform authorized governmental and non-governmental organizations for promoting, conserving, and strengthening the mountaineering aspects of the tourism industry.
  • To identify peaks that exist in extreme isolation and harsh terrain, and encourage concerned institutions to open such peaks for mountaineering activities, including expeditions, and acquire appropriate legal precedence necessary for such activities.
  • To acquire all legal precedence necessary for the smooth operation of expeditions from authorized governmental bodies.
